Hello! My name is Jacob. I am a journalist specializing in documentary production and cinematography.

Every adventure is a story being witnessed. These stories are told to encourage the viewer to live their life outside of the norm and trust that it will be better in the end. I try to empower people to take chances through the documentary films I make. 

My production subjects have included the Coquille Tribe, Clausen Oysters and the Oregon Horse Rescue. I have assisted in productions for the Travel Channel’s Dead Files and Motor Trend’s Graveyard Carz. I am a licensed drone operator who enjoys the outdoors. My best work combines my camera skills with my interpersonal skills. 

I grew up in the coastal town of North Bend, Oregon. Outside of my work, I enjoy running long distances across Oregon’s amazing landscapes and listening to audiobooks about history.
